Our first live online conference ever!

Hello everyone,

I am so happy to be here and share with so much excitement the fact that we were able to participate in a live online conference on #moodlemooc10. This online conference was an amazing opportunity created by Dr. Nellie Deutsch -- @nelliemuller --  and, of course, our teacher Maria Jesus -- @mjgsm. We are so thankful to them, for such a unique opportunity. 

Due to the lack of time, I was not able to share my thoughts and experiences with all the teachers that were connected from so many different countries like India, Australia, Canada, Italy, France and so many other countries. However, I did hear a lot of inspiring speeches from my classmates who were just amazing! So I can say that the 2 hours I spent listening to them were very inspiring and I honestly learned a lot.

Now, I want to share with you some slides that we used in the live conference because, in order to prepare for our live conference, we had to prepare one slide that would support our speech.

Even though I was not able to participate in the conference, I still want to share my thoughts and my view about what we have learned throughout our ICT course. I will not be satisfied if I don't say what I couldn't say during the conference!

Now, after I said what I wanted to tell everyone in the live conference, I want to publish the recording of the live class so you can see for yourself what a great job and how inspiring were the speeches of my classmates, the future teachers in education. 

I hope you too can feel motivated, by watching this, to collaborate and cooperate with other teachers in order to improve education. This conference was able to take place thanks to the technology that we are so blessed to have in our lives. In other words, let's use ICT as teachers, as there are so many benefits and advantages that can improve and ease the education, and the communication, cooperation, and collaboration between teachers all over the Globe!

I want to finish this post telling you that, with this online conference, we concluded our last challenge for our ICT course. Honestly, it was a great experience! We have learned more than we have ever thought we would! As I already said before, through this course I was able to learn how important it is for a teacher to know how to use technology in a motivating way in education. Besides, we discovered the importance of cooperating with each other, as I mentioned so many times in my posts. If you followed me through my journey from the beginning you will know how many applications I started to use, and how much I loved using them! This subject provided us with many tools, that we will definitely use in our classes in the near future. 
With all this, I want to say goodbye to everyone from my master course who has been reading my posts so far and thank you for your feedback that helped me improve during my journey! I will definitely keep writing on my blog, and keep you updated with my experiences and projects I will carry out in my class!
