Partner Search for my Living and Non-living things project

Image
Welcome fellow teachers, Today I am so excited because I am going to share with you an awesome news! After I created and advertised my own eProject "Living and non-living things", I thought that in order to take a step forward would be useful to find a partner that would support me and with whose collaboration I could bring forth my project. It was hard to find a project in which my own project would fit! However, here is my good news! I found a project that I really love and inspired me so much while I looked through it! The partner I want to share my project with is a collaborative project called The 30 Goals Challenge !  According to it, teachers should innovate the way they are teaching by following simple steps that will transform your teaching! The best thing is that you can contribute with your own goal and then submit it on their page. On the right, you can find some of the goals that teachers gathered two years ago, which I retrieved from the official page...

Hello everyone, Did you enjoy creating your Open Educational Project? I hope you learned a lot from my last post!  Today, we are going to see how to collaborate with the world by sharing our project with other people. I am pretty sure you all enjoy to surf the net in search of motivating and inspiring projects that will help you deliver knowledge to your students, with enthusiasm, and in a meaningful way! Well, after this post you will be able to share your awesome and creative project with the world! This way many teachers will be able to make a good use of your project and ideas within different classes around the world!  Isn't this exciting? Moreover, we will also learn how to transform our project into a collaborative one. This means that we will have to make some changes in the prototype we have prepared, by creating meaningful activities through which children will be able to cooperate not only within the classroom but also out of the classroom! They will be...

Creating the prototype of an educational project!

Image
Knowing how to analyze an educational project is very important. In my last post, I've been explaining how to do it thoroughly. Now that we already analyzed an educational project, I think it's time for us to create one ourselves. I know it might sound a bit difficult, but we are going to do it together. Here I will present to you a template that can be of help in the development of a CLIL educational project; your own original project! First, I am here to tell you, that what I am going to show you is just a prototype I created and it needs review. For that, I want you to take a look at it and give me your feedback and ideas for its improvement. We are all here to learn from it and make the most out of every resource we find on the internet.                            In the frame bellow, you can see the template that I used to create the prototype of my own educational project. This ...

Let's know each other! Flipped interview!

Image
Welcome everyone, In today's post, I am very excited to introduce a fun and dynamic way of getting to know other people. If you want your students to get to know each other, you can make use of this interactive activity in which your pupils will be able to connect with other classmates through a fun Flipped Interview. Besides getting to know their classmates, this activity will improve their TIC and creative skills along with their ability to work in teams!  To see how it actually works, my partner Álvaro and I made a Flipped Interview ourselves and I can honestly say we had heaps of fun doing it! For the video, we did not use a professional camera just a regular smartphone.  Now, before recording the video we shared a common file on Google Drive . This way we were able to write a short script about what we were going to say and what questions we were going to ask. This application was great because it eased our work as we did not have time to meet u...
